The Venue Apartments Partners with Nationaly Syndicated Morning Show

The Venue Apartments, is partnering with a popular nationally syndicated morning radio show for a family in need! The Kidd Kraddick in the Morning show recently spotlighted Bekkie Floriana and her mom on air after meeting her at one of Jenna’s Glamorsquad makeovers at a local hospital. Bekkie Floriana is diagnosed with Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) for the second time since she was 5 years old. ALL is a fast-growing cancer of the white blood cells, which are the type of blood cells that the body uses to fight infections. Doctors found a malignant mass on her head and started very aggressive treatment immediately. Bekkie and her mother were flown to Dallas and placed in an extended stay hotel when doctors told them they had to stay in Dallas for two years while Bekkie undergoes chemo for 52 weeks straight! Bekkie and her mother had no choice but to leave her 13-year-old brother Dylan with friends in their hometown because they do not have the means to take care of him at the moment.

The Venue Apartments is providing Bekkie and her family a two-bedroom apartment complete with a washer and dryer, for at least 1 year believing that simply providing a place to call home during Bekkie's treatment would lift a tremendous burden on the family and assist in Bekkie's recovery.
In addition to The Venue's donation of housing, Park Place Lexus provided the family a vehicle to replace their need for taxi's as transportation. Sylvan Learning is providing tutoring for Bekkie and Incognito Interior Design furnished and decorated the family’s apartment.
The staff at The Venue Apartments and members of the corporate office were involved in the surprise reveal to the family this week. The overwhelming emotional response from the family and volunteers involved cannot be described. This evening with the family will be with all of us for a long time. We are truly proud to be a part of this wonderful gift and wish Bekkie and her family nothing but the best!
Milestone Management believes in giving back which is why we founded our Partners in Service program. If you feel inspired to help other children in need, you can donate to Kidd’s Kids or other local charities in your area.
